LITIGATION
Our Litigation Group represents clients in a variety of tribunals across the country, including state and federal court, municipal and administrative agencies, and mediation and arbitration forums nationwide.
Commercial Law
We have negotiated, litigated and tried commercial disputes, supply and service contract disputes and other general business and commercial law claims, including restrictive covenants, and covenants not to compete, and can lend a special perspective to understanding your opponent's thinking, as a result.
ARDC Complaints
We represent attorneys who are facing Complaints from former or present clients (and other persons), and which have resulted in the filing of a Complaint or Request For Investigation Of A Lawyer with the Illinois Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission of the Supreme Court of Illinois.
Employment Law
Our attorneys have represented both employers and employees in a variety of employment matters; we offer a full range of service in Employment Law and litigation, including:
Contracts - Interpretation, drafting, negotiating, and litigation of contracts.
Non-competition agreements - Fighting and obtaining emergency court orders on non-competition agreements and covenants not to compete.
Separation and Severance Agreements - Reviewing proposed severance terms prior to employment, and negotiating and litigating terms of separation at and after termination of employment.
Employee Benefits and ERISA claims - Examining, negotiating and litigating claims for life insurance, disability insurance, medical insurance, and other employee benefits.
Privacy Law
We represent clients in claims related to privacy, including trade secrets, slander, libel, defamation, public disclosure of private facts, publicity rights, and privacy rights, which are increasingly important as information becomes more easily obtained and more valuable.
Disability Insurance Policy Claims
The firm represents policy holders of disability insurance in claims against their carriers, when an insurance company refuses to pay on legitimate claims of disability. We are familiar with the legal and factual arguments posed by insurance companies and their lawyers, when they deny legitimate claims. We have successfully collected millions of dollars for our clients from the litigation of these claims, in spite of those arguments.
Entertainment Law
Entertainment issues frequently involve a complex combination of contract law, negotiation, privacy and publicity law, corporate, partnership, and limited liability entity, and/or property law, and they frequently require immediacy. Both our litigation and transactional group have experience in all of these areas, and work together to formulate and obtain results in your entertainment industry-related issues.
Litigation - With experience in state and federal courts all over the country, including state, municipal and administrative agencies, we can get the relief to which you are entitled in commercial disputes, supply and service contract disputes and other general business and commercial claims.
